What percentage on the gross do you typically pay?

I'm very new to hosting business and to WHT as well, however, has been always passionate about doing hosting business.

We just got some funding in providing Hyper-V VMs. Is there a better way to market the hosting in WHT or any other places? Since several of my posts are removed due to my unfamiliar with WHT rules.

I am planning to say my company has premium hosting on the website.
Do I have to do something special to make my hosting premium?

What are the merits and demerits using satellite internet connection for powering a small DC? What problems will occur other than latency issues?

How many people have experminted with 24 hours sales/live chat sales? We were at 8/5 and then increased it to 16/5 but I'm debating if there is anything to be gained increasing it further to having full 16/7 or 24/7. Looking at website stats and off hour email says probably the weekend coverage is worth it but not the out of hours. Does anyone have practical expierence to suggest otherwise or is it best to test and see?

For backing up my server,should i rent another or would i be a good idea to but a server/comp and back it up from my home.

Also is there any software which will backup all accts on a server.

This is more of a heads up than anything. We currently have a job advert running which states "No outsourced" and normally when we do this we get a few and go, oh well and moved on. Today though we got one with a proposal attached and much to my delight it contained the name of another company. i.e. a copy and paste job without the paste.

I've informed the other company here on WHT and they aren't to happy but this is more of a heads up just in case there are more data leaks from them

Edit: It was VectorLevel LLC who we had but they have commented so no problem in saying their name now

I have been working with PHP for 5 years or so, and I am thinking about going for the Zend PHP Certification to set myself apart from a lot of the other coders out there.

How much would a Zend certification affect your decision to hire a coder for a project? I don't want to waste my time and money if its not highly regarded.
